Terms of sale.
All orders that you place on the website will be subject to acceptance in accordance with the following terms of sale (“terms”) for the Roulais.com website (“site”). You can print off these terms, or store them on your computer, for future reference. Please read them carefully.
1. Conditions of sale
To create a contract between you and us, please follow the simple on-screen instructions taking you through the process of placing an order on the website. To place an order for the products select the “Add To Bag” or “Pre Order” button, click on the “Bag” on the top right of the screen, review the order and click on the “Checkout” button. In doing this you offer to buy the goods at the prices indicated as well as any applicable delivery and tax charges.
In stock items are delivered within 3-5 working days of having placed the order.
Pre order items are delivered to the customer within 4-5 weeks of having placed their order.
Once a purchase is made we will email an automated order notification to you, listing the products you have ordered, their ETA, and a price breakdown. Shipping costs and taxes are added at checkout. These costs will be included in the price breakdown.
Orders cannot be cancelled once they have been placed. However, you can make a return up to 14 days after you receive the product and receive a full refund. Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customers.
The acceptance of your order takes place when you make an online payment and you receive an order confirmation. The completion of the contract between you and us will take place on the dispatch of the products unless we notify you that the order has not been accepted.
Non-acceptance of an order by us will occur if: we identify a pricing or product description error; the ordered product is out of stock or unavailable; or if we are unable to obtain authorization for your payment.
2. Product prices
(a) The sale prices are expressed in GBP and inclusive of VAT and shipping within the EU/UK.
(b) Any purchase order made by the user will be subject to the sale prices published online at the moment of its submission. Such prices may vary without any notice. The user will be responsible to check the final price before submitting the purchase order.
(c) All products' prices displayed on the platforms are exclusive of shipping costs, which will be borne by the user in their entirety if they are shipping outside of the EU/UK. Such costs will vary in accordance with the selected shipping method and will be indicated separately in the purchase order summary and the receipt confirmation.
3. Product conformity
The user hereby recognizes and accepts that the so-called “distressed” effect characterising some of the company’s products may not be considered as a defect of conformity.
The user understands when entering the sale agreement that there can be minute differences in the distressing effects of each shoe compared to the product photos due to the hand-made artisanal processing of the products.
4. Payments
To process safe card payments and refunds we use some of the best third parties to ensure maximum security and privacy for your information: Stripe, PayPal, Apple Pay.
5. Pricing and availability
We reserve the right to withdraw any products from this website at any time and/or remove or edit any materials or content on this website. We may refuse to process a transaction for any reason or refuse service to anyone at any time at our sole discretion. We will not be liable to you or any third party by reason of our withdrawing any product from this website whether or not that product has been sold; removing or editing any materials or content on the website; refusing to process a transaction or unwinding or suspending any transaction after processing has begun.
6. Customs
If your order is to be delivered outside the European Union, it may attract import duty and local sales taxes which customers will need to pay on receipt of the shipment. Any additional charges for customs clearance must be borne by you. These rules vary by country and your local government determines duty and customs charges, so you should contact your local customs office for further information.
7. Cancellations
You cannot cancel the order once it has been placed, however, once the products have been delivered you may return them within 14 days of receipt of delivery to receive a full refund.
8. Shipping cost
Free shipping is provided to the EU/UK. We also ship to Hong Kong, Japan, Singapore, and South Korea at a flat rate of €40 per order and to the USA and Canada at a flat rate of €25. Please refer to our shipping & returns page for all the details. Please remember, the customer will be responsible for paying duty and import taxes and it is not included in the shipping rate. These will vary depending on what country you are shipping to.
9. Returns
If you are in any way unhappy with your goods you may send them back for a full refund. Once accepted, our customer service team will email you a label with the shipping address to send the item(s) to.
Items you need to return for a refund will be accepted within our 14 day returns period. We ask that you return the goods unused, with all the original tags intact. However, products made under special offers, i.e. socks included with sneaker purchases, cannot be refunded or returned.
Items returned outside that period will only be refunded if the return has been authorized by our customer service team. Please note that your statutory rights are not affected.
Please note that we are not responsible for the return postage costs unless in the exceptional circumstances that an item is faulty or your order delivered is incorrect. When you return goods, please retain the proof of posting from your shipper with a parcel tracking number. Without this, we cannot be responsible for any items that fail to reach us.
We aim to process all returns within 7 working days of reaching us and will email to confirm when this has been done. Sometimes the limitations of the international banking system mean that the refund may take a further few days to show up on your card statement.
Please refer to our shipping & returns page or contact orders@roulais.com for more information.
10. Promo codes
All promo codes are single-use and have a limited time usage window. If a promo code has already closed you can no longer use it for a discount during the checkout process.
